לפעולה שעושה הכירופרקט קוראים adjustment. פעולה זו היא מניפולציה ידנית המופעלת על עמוד השדרה או מפרקי הגוף. הרופא מתאים אישית את הפעולה בהתאם למצבו וגילו של המטופל.
